OMG!!! Such a beautiful story. I have a playlist on my Amazon Music titled Dad for my beloved father. One of the songs on that playlist is Kind and Generous by Natalie Merchant!! The very first time I heard it many years ago it immediately reminded me my dad that always gave me unconditional love and support. I am forever grateful for him. ❤

Just woke up today thinking about this great soul, because of General Millie's confirmed, somber warning to my country. This book excerpt reminds me 100% of my father, who changed from late age fury into joy & love the day he died, & instantly began swooping me upward as he did when i was two, carrying me thru hard times & sending my brain his beloved Aaron Copland music, Our Town, Appalachian Spring. It's real. Bless you.
