Suzanne had the same agent as Farrah Fawcett. That was Jay Bernstein. When Farrah legally had to come back to CA to do 6 episodes; she got paid $150k/episode. So i think word got out. And that had to have influenced Suzanne (& even Kate Jackson) in her negotiations. She was a huge star of that show

There's an interview that Suzanne did about 10 years ago, you can still find it on KZbin, where she was up for contract negotiations. She says at that time she had the highest demographics of any tv actress of that time, and 3company was the highest rated show. Even though the 3 leads had a favored nation's clause, Joyce and John had already negotiated their contracts. Suzanne was last to negotiate. Suzanne says when her lawyer walked into the boss' office with Suzanne's husband, the first thing he said to the lawyer was, "you got me last time! You won't get me this time." Prior to that meeting, a huge salary was negotiated for Laverne and Shirley. They, of course, did not want to pay any more money. The way she describes that last season seemed so humiliating. I hope now she gets to rest.

Suzanne had 2 MAJOR falls in the last 3 years. She has had to have major surgery and she is still recovering. She leaks cerebral spinal fluid that puts pressure on her brain which causes her to sometimes have to have an extra second to think about or express what she is saying. She has been through a lot, so BE NICE!!!
