I think that it was all three of them that made the show special. She keeps saying that it was just her and John Ritter, but it wasn't. It was the combination of the three. Janet was also wonderful in her own way. That's just how I see it.

@@brkitdwn I watched several clips of her reunion with Joyce DeWitt on her KZbin show and learned so much! I appreciate all 3 of them. I never enjoyed the show much after she left. Rip. Suzanne Summers. You were amazing. And brilliant, and sweet, and kind, and humble. I love her cancer in this interview. I love that she did not shy away from her sexuality. Of being a woman, when you’re in the mood, you’re in the mood, I can’t help but respect that. You know, they had a undeniable attraction for one another., And who could deny that, they had love, they blended their families together. They created a safe, Haven, for their families. To be happy, and you can tell that she was very much in love with her husband, as her husband was in love with her. And goddamn, she looks so good to be the age that she Was when doing this interview. Man I can only hope and wish I still look that way when I get in my 70s. Peace and love to Alan Hamill, her husband, I know this is got to be a more trying time for you, and my heart goes out to Suzanne Summers, sons, and the whole entire family. Rest in peace beautiful angel. And travel well with the angels. You’re safe now, in the Lord of the heavens, and in God’s arms. ❤❤ 18:54

She keeps saying that they only spoke again right before he died, but both she and John Ritter said in a book about the show that they reconciled long before that. @@lisgreen5675 I have seen that. It did seem more like she was owning her role in all of that, though I don't think she was wrong to ask for more money considering how huge she had become as a celebrity. But to hear her speak in this clip, she acts as if it was the Jack and Chrissy show, and Janet was there solely to set up their antics. Joyce DeWitt has frequently said she was happy to focus on perfecting her role in the show and wasn't eager to be a celebrity.

The success of the show Friends was on the premise that Courtney Cox was the star 🌟 & they were going to pay her more but she said no, let us all be paid the same; eliminated adamosity, problem solved & no frueds & no one quit! I felt like Suzanne & John Ritter made the show..it simply wasn't the same after she left...& she had every right to ask for more money, she didn't do it right out of the gate but 6 yrs after the show was on air...maybe if she had approch it like Courtney & included Joyce it might have gone better for her.

I don’t agree with her analogy that Joyce Dewitt was Ethel. People were not dying to see her with John Ritter again. They were dying to see all three of them together again. I thought she really shunned Joyce in this interview. The show was called Three’s Company for a reason. She also failed to mention that she stopped showing up for work and they had to rewrite scripts at the last minute. That’s why everyone got angry at her. And that’s why she was fired. The producers did not brainwash the rest of the cast. They all suffered because of her antics.

I disagree they need fresh characters for new storylines and the addition of Cindy and Terri gave the show that. Cheers probably wouldn’t have lasted 11 seasons if Shelly Long wouldn’t have left. The addition of the character Rebecca on Cheers opened up many more storylines to come.I also want to add that Joyce Dewitt as Janet was just as much of a star as Suzanne was on the show.I never thought of her as “ Ethel”

From what I've read, it was her husband Alan who went to the studio to try and negotiate a raise. She said it was Alan who came home afterwards to tell her she'd been fired. This great rock group called Kansas did a song that goes: "Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky, nothing lasts forever and all your money not another minute buy". It is always sad when time runs out on someone's life. It is a useless wish to want to live forever, but at 72, I wish to God to go on for another decade, and even that thought seems ridiculous, and I go, a decade? But that is only ten years.

I’m not sure I think I saw this yesterday. But I’ll have to go back and see if I can find it cause I want to rewatch it. But I think it was like an interview. I’m not sure if it was with Joyce DeWitt I wanted to that it was, I don’t know if they were, asking you a question. Something went wrong. Because I think she stopped the interview. And Suzanne Somers said she did not have any issues or problems with joy to it, I don’t know, they didn’t talk for like was it too decades, I think? Someone can please correct me if I’m wrong here, but I was just curious, so also, in one of the interview that saw, she mentioned it might have been this wind that I’m just watching right now where she mentions that John Ritter, calls her up and wants to talk about a dream sequence for the show eight simple rules. She was at the head rush her getting her hair done. And on the phone was John Ritter, wanting to discuss that. Well, as it turns out, I don’t think they ended up using, Suzanne Summers, or, trust you I think it was the characters that portrayed, Krissy and Snow in his dream. But she also mentions that they spoke, and a month later he passed away. Also someone please answer this question for me when was this interview that Joyce, and Krissy, Snow, a.k.a. Krissy know I’m sorry, Suzanne Summers, did it interview and I don’t know, if that was a few years later after John Ritter passed away? In that interview to me personally. Seems like it was a bit forced. Or that it really truly was not in either one of their hard to do it. It didn’t seem real as if they were excited to even see each other. But that’s just my thoughts. Now don’t get me wrong. I like Suzanne Summers. Love during threes company. Love her step-by-step. I never did watch. She’s the shirt. So I don’t really have much to say about that show.but I think they were both amazing actors as far as choice do it as well. It’s sad the way things end it between them. But I don’t know if they ever remained talking to each other even after that interview or what I have no clue. But I imagine now. That Suzanne Richard passed away three days ago now. She passed away on Sunday. And it’s now Wednesday. I’m pretty sure the news got to Joyce duet. Of Suzanne Summers passing. I apologize I am using dictation on my iPhone device so I want to apologize for the typo. I am visually impaired. And so sometimes the words may not come out the way it is intended to, but, hopefully you get the chips of what I’m trying to say, and this comment section. Thank you. Y’all all have a great day. Rest in peace Suzanne Summers. You will be missed.
