Wow....Luka and Tom's diner don't even begin to scratch the surface of her talent....she's such a deep and interesting person, very spiritual and insightful. I can't believe these interviewers couldn't find anything better to ask her about.

Yes, Luka was huge, but that was in 1987 and Suzanne has released 6 albums since then! Why not ask pertinent questions about the new album, and the tour? Nobody cares about what time last night's show ended!

Nothing wrong with the interview. It's a breakfast tv show, not a dedicated music show. The 80's were the time she made her name so it was pertinent to mention what was her most successful period. They DID mention the new album & the link to the past regarding Lukas story. Always some 'fan' whinging. Pathetic.

Almost 30 years ago Suzanne gained worldwide notoriety with "Luka" and "Tom's Diner" However, since then, Suzanne has made quite a few really good songs, that for some reason, never reached the air-waves. I sent the BBC her last two studio albums, but they never got played. These days, if the artist is not backed by some mega bucked label, then they just don't get any recognition for their work. Bring back the DJ's of yesteryear who gave the independent singer/songwriters a chance to be heard.

@@Maguirearch Most music today is very shallow and repetative. I've seen Suzanne "Live" twice and I love the stories she tells between her songs, and how they came about. In fact most of her songs are about her life experiences. She has a wonderful voice, coupled with her acoustic style. I never tire of listening to her.

I can see in her eyes that she is, quite rightly, longing for the days when Howard Stern was interviewing her. His interviews are challenging mentally as they are not solely based on promoting the artist's music but definitely more fun for interviewer, interviewee and the audience.

She was signing albums after the show and I was stood a few feet from her and I was struck by her beauty. I would say that she has aged very well.
