That first Suzanne Vega album is still, for me, one of the greatest debut albums of all-time. A perfect album.

Thanks. This guy is not the best interviewer in the world, but it's wonderful how forthcoming she is with him. She reveals lots of interesting things here. And she's very generous with her answers. Cheers.

Suzanne I was raised in a Home of Domestic Violence, and so this song is relevant to me. I have just moved in to an Apartment, and I hear the child crying every night. It was not, however, a case of Domestic Abuse, he was a child from the Ukraine, and when I heard him cry before school, I put my arm around him, and told him the World is not all Bad. and I told him I was going to buy him a Big Bar of Chocolate, as creepy as that may sound. Because I was in that situation where the child feels traumatiised. And I can relate to those lyrics Suzanne. Thank You for your Music, I listen to it every day, especially after my Mother Passed Away in march at age 86, just a "Bag of Bones" a "Living Corpse" after all my Father Put Her, and us, Through. Thank You Suzanne.

I just want to say that the child from the Ukraine was not a child of Domestic Abuse, I spoke to his Mother at length, and both her Husband and Her, have a real Fondness for the Child. He just wanted to go Home to the Ukraine, because he was being Bullied at school.

Suzanne Vega is really giving here and patient. Tom take some time to think about what questions you are going to ask, these questions must have been asked over and over again.. But thank you

He's definitely a bit awkward but somehow it allows her to be a bit more casual and open than in her usual aloof interviews.
