For all the people who tear her apart on other comment boards, I have a lot of compassion for her. I've been in her shoes, and I was in them for many years. I know when Orman says she has a crush on herself it sounds very conceited and narcissistic, but she does have a valid point. If you have disdain for yourself, it's impossible to be happy in any situation, and indeed one will do damn near anything to be accepted. Of course one can carry that thought too far and become aloof and indeed become narcissistic, so it has to be kept in balance. I hope Sarah continues her journey in finding herself, because once she does, her life will blossom. She has a lot of good in her, and now it just needs to come out.

Its very hard to love yourself when for years you have been made to feel that you are not good enough, especially when it is people you love have made you feel this way. Orman says she doesn't care what people think about her, and good on her. Why should we be made to feel bad about ourselves by other's opinions, who among us are perfect and haven't made mistakes in our lives. I am surprised when Sarah said "I don't like myself", because I do like myself, and "liking myself" is not a narcissist trait. On the contrary, narcissist dislike/hates themselves. I wonder what was really going on in Sarah's head as she was talking to Suze? "I have a crush on myself. I wouldn't change one thing about me." Really?!? Inspirational and motivational speakers have their merits, but boy they can be annoying and come across as a bit fake, at least to me. I know I tend to be pessimistic - as it seems Sarah can be - but there's something insincere about Suze in this to me. "I wasn't expecting to like her." Why would she say that? I'd be willing to bet Sarah was glad to see that car drive away.

Sarah Ferguson needs a job, she doesn't have enough to do so she sets around thinking of her problems. If you have to be somewhere and show up for others and pull your own weight life becomes more manageable. Having a faith in God and knowing there is more to living than just for yourself is freeing. You need something to get up for.
