This is an original composition by Suzi and a really beautiful song. Kudos to the Happy Days people for letting her perform the whole thing on their show!

What can say, she is the best. America take note of Suzi. She is great. She is from Detroit. So why is she barely known in the states? In England, Europe, and Asia, and Australia, she is a superstar but in America, she is barely known. She made a lot albums, 100s of SONGS.She is a woman SUPERSTAR in her own right. It is hard to pick out a favorite song to allow she has sung. I like Cat Size from her first album. A lot later she did Michael (about her brother who played the guitar. He crashed and burned. What a moving song and LOVE TOUCH. that song is pure gold. So many songs, so many. Her first album came out around 1973 or 1974. If you were lucky, inside the album's jacket was an iron on transfer with just SUZI on it I bought a lot of different albums, but they never had an iron on transfer. That she was special for this album. Suzi first album was like I said, 1973 or 1974. This powerhouse woman, Suzi and she still plays today! I love her as a person and singer. She has it all. Why dose America not know much of her? A truly gifited singer. Nobody can take that away from her! Lastly, everyone that hears her know she is bound of glory. Pleas let it be known she deserves to be in the Rockand roll hall of fame!!!!!!!! Get on your keyboard and tell the rest of America about Suzi Quatro. She should be honared for a life time of being on stage and singing her heart out with her music. Thanks to you all for reading this........dave in Sierra vista AZ.

In the 70's when I was a kid, this show was VERY popular, but also considered too corny and fake. No American women looked like Leather Tuscadero in the 50's, especially with that hairstyle! But I loved her tough biker chic personality on a G-rated show, it was so bizarre. But when she sang this song, even as an 11 year old, I thought to myself how great she was & that she didn't belong on this show. My friends and I all wondered why she wasn't a rock star....little did anyone in America know that she was a huge star in Europe, especially in Britain. I got see her perform at the Marquee Club in London (very famous venue where the Stones started) 3 years ago and she was incredible. She was born in 1950, so this would've made her 62, but she looks & sounds great.

Yup, I have to agree. It was odd to see a real, young, vital musician/singer/performer with fucking Potsie and Ritchie pretending to play instruments on this corny show, which by the 4th or 5th season was a venue for actors with contemporary haircuts (except Fonzie) to mug and attempt to start catch phrases like "Wa wa wa!" I felt embarassed for Suzie, and wondered why the only song we ever heard by her in America was "Stumblin' In." Of course, until the internet, we had no idea SQ was a bona fide rock star in Australia and Europe.

"Now I'm done... playing the fool... And I've paid... all my childhood dues..." Am I just one... One of the crowd?" [About to be homeless... a single face among the crowd; full of uncompassionate, hungry wolves... whereas I 'used' to stand out] "I decided... a few days ago... There's no room... Room for me in this show..." [I'm constantly contemplating suicide] "I changed my make-up... completely this time... Now I'm not one... one of the crowd..." [Will I get my life back?] "Sooo good-bye... Good-bye blind eyes... I'm gonna find me... a cat's eye... Good-bye... Good-bye blind eyes I know what I want to be..." [That I not have my life dictated for me] [A cat's eyes are sharp... they have the uncanny ability to see things in the dark whereas other creatures may not... This is life as well... we are sooo blind of our future]
