I used to be a big Velvet Teddy fan but I've since gone cruelty free and would recommend Soap and Glory's Cinnamon Beige as a brilliant dupe that doesn't test on animals!

So chaud is my favorite MAC red of all time. I can wear it as a happy orangey summer red, and it is a great Christmas time red for olive skin tones. Have worn it around Christmas a ton even to the office, and have had especially yellow or olive toned ask me about the shade every time I wear it. It's a great "inoffensive" red especially on olive skin, you made me very interested in Lady Danger though! Tropic Tonic is the only matte coral I am aware of - not peach, not orange, not hot pink but coral. Love it. My third favorite of all time for MAC is also Morange. So good. Fourth is Kinda sexy, that one is magical. It is peachy nude matte for me when I am light in winter, and a very pale "bombshell" nude lip when I am tanned in sumer, it is is awesome with dark brown or green smokey eyes both in winter and summer, although it looks very different for me in both seasons as my skintone changes quite a lot. So sad you gave that one away!!! If I have to conclude my top fives of Mac I think I have to include an old favorite that is strictly winter time for me - Rebel. So good on all skin tones. That leaves out so many favorites - costa chic comes to mind. You'd not think a frost coral is good, but this one is. Both applied straight on to give the frost a shine, or rubbed in as a stain, which takes the frost away. Russian Red! Ugh so many. Mehr is also great - on my very pigmented pink lips that one is a pretty petal pink, and really as much a spring color as a fall color as you say.

Lovely collection. I don't know if anyone else has the same problem, but I always find that mac matte lipsticks dry my lips out completely, so even though I love the colours and the way they look on, I can never actually wear them more than a couple of days in a row because my lips start to crack and flake😩
