Honda , Yamaha and suzuki are refined engines. If scooter is for you suzuki125 and Fascino vl b good bcoz u vl get a good weight balance and rear weight issues will not be there while riding/ turning the scooter, both are good buy and fyi suzuki also have burgman 125. I have uploaded the review video of that too. pls do testride to find which suits you more.

It depends on u bro..if u like burgman design u can go for burgman, sporty it's has a slight better performance than access. Riding comfort is better in burgman. If u like the classic look it's access. And access will suit all in ur home. Minimum plastic it feel sturdy and fit n finish is good on long term.

Bro dio is 110 cc access is 125 , dio is very good for city rides and access is good one for long rides too. High speed stability is good in access. Practicality wise access leads . Refinement , maintenance dio scores. Better do test ride both the scooters , you can dcd one .

Thanks for this neat review. I am looking to buy a new scooter. Which one is best - Access 125 or Activa 125? I see Activa 125 has more new features. Looks like Access is not even scratching the surface. Say, Activa has “distance to ride before empty” info displayed in the console. I guess Access does not have this useful info. And it lacks a host of other ones like side stand indicator, integrated key console, pass switch etc. Saying all that, if i should overlook the said new features in Activa, does it still make sense to buy an Access 125? What is Access’ selling point? I don’t want to fall for Activa features and miss out on something more significant in the Access.

Yes bro ... Ur points are right and access misses out some features while comparing ( waiting to know features newly added in Bluetooth enabled access125 ). But still access is segment lead in sales for various reason. The most i liked is it's high speed stability ( even at its topspeed ie 95kmph) , centre weighted , it's more flickable and gives confidence than activa 125 ( activa is still rear weighed model, Grazia & Dio is better than activa in this case ). And if u really feel for features yes activa is step ahead even slightly in refinement and reliability. Better do test ride both the vehicle.

And, yeah, i am going to test ride both and decide after that. And, i do see your note that Access is segment lead in 125. If i may ask, what are the other 125 scooters that comes close to Access in stability? I am looking for a great ride and a reasonable fuel economy. Looks like Access costs around 92K on road now in chennai and if another good scooter is within few thousands i’m fine considering that as well. And i did a test ride of Activa 125, Access 125 and TVS Ntorq. This is my experience with each. Activa is way ahead in the set of features. I loved its silent start system. It’s idling stop was great as well, it felt magical that the engine shuts off and restarts automatically without even realizing there was a lag in it’s functioning. And the side stand engine shut off made me feel more safe. Coming to the actual ride, my experience was different though. I was not too impressed with the quality of the ride, i felt the vehicle was slow no matter how hard i accelerated it. Wouldn’t say the ride was bad but left feeling wanting more. Then, i test rode Access 125. As i already knew, the feature set was close to NIL compared to Activa 125. Didn’t even have a basic pass switch or side stand indicator, let alone the advanced features like silent start or idling stop system. Access does have a USB charging system, however not sure how much i would use. Also it’s placement out in the open was not great, i think water can seep in under rain though it has a poor quality cap. The vehicle i took for a ride already had the silicone cap filled with dust. Speaking about the ride with Access, i must admit that the quality of the ride trumped my desire for more features (okay, not fully!!). The vehicle pulled so good and me riding at higher speeds felt effortless. I usually ride sitting upright without a slouch and i felt at home riding with Access. With Activa, i felt bit buried while seated but that was not the case with Access. I liked the comfort with this one and i might even end up going for it, which i did not think i would a week back!! And as i said, i wish Suzuki added more features to this model and i still feel that it’s price tag of 92K for bare bones feature set is not a great value. I am even wondering if i should wait for the next iteration of Access to see if Suzuki does something!! And i did see the bluetooth enabled all-digital console of the new Access variant, and i was not too impressed with it. Whatsapp, SMS, missed call alerts on the display are not something i would want to be distracted with while riding. To top it, and if i am correct, i read that this new console would work only with the Android phones. Me an iphone user, this digital console would then just be a waste (not that i liked it in the first place, i find the part digital/analog display more beautiful). Oh, suzuki is charging 5K more for this bluetooth console model, all the more reason to stay away even for an android user. Coming to Ntorq, i liked the ride better than Activa, but fell short of the Access. I felt i was sitting too close to the handle bar, that made my ride a bit less comfortable than i would have wanted. It handled ride great even at higher speeds just like Access, just did not like Ntorq’s close seating. One feature of Ntorq that trumped both Activa and Access was its disk braking system. Ntorq’s disk brakes had the best bite of the three. It was quick and it’s braking distance was the shortest, felt the vehicle coming to a immediate stop when applied. The other two definitely had a bit of a lag. So my final pick of the 3 would be Access. Only because of its riding comfort and performance. But with a heart burn for the desire of more features seen in Activa and Ntorq. As i mentioned above, still wondering if i should hold my wallet and wait for the next Access facelift.

Generally marketing and field use ku I personally not recommend scooters, u go for a bike with good mileage. Scooters are not meant for rough use. Maintenance is higher and not good for your back.
