I've been working on a 2000 Suzuki Bandit 1200 with carb and tank issues. I like this video a great deal as to the approach to these tasks in a systematic fashion with the application of silicone grease t facilitate reassembly. Nice work.

This is a tough job for me; I think the silicone grease will help. Thanks mate!

I had to do the cleaning job this year again and found out, that the suction port clamps must be loosen much much more, so that they can deform a bit allowing the carbs slight in more easily. With only little loosen clamps it is impossible to press the carbs in.

@@REBUILDLab Thanks! How often should I expect to do the carbs?

It depends on what kind of gasoline you will left in the carbs during the winter. If there is bio gasoline, expect to have clogged carbs in the spring. I would use 98- 100 octane gasoline with low bio component in there for the winter plus gasoline stabiliser. Should be better then...

@@violjohn Just run it often. There are plenty of dry days over winter. Or disconnect the tank and run it dry

Doing mine today after a full carb clean and rebuild. One of the easier ones. Try a VF, now that is hard.

@@REBUILDLab I'm working on an ST1100 at the mo. It's a nightmare putting it back. There is a lot more realigning to it. And yeah, it's sweet when it all works BTW, your uploads are excellent. Very good for novices to watch, indeed.
