How to upgrade the jet in carburetor for better performance.
In this video you may see how I re-jet the main jet and pilot jet in a for stroke outboard Suzuki df 2.5 h.p.
The pilot jet(controls the fuel at idle to about 1/4 throttle)is #32 and the next size up would be #34 not #33.
I installed a #66 main jet and #34 pilot jet in the carb and installed the carb back on the motor.
Started the motor and let it warm up than adjusted the idle mixture screw.
It idled best at 2 turns out and is within the perimeters of the pilot jet so it did need the bigger jet. The manual says idle is 1900 RPM +/- 100 rpm.
The pilot jet sits under a chrome plated screw. Take the screw out and you'll see the pilot jet about an inch down the hole.

How did You connect pipe to the cooling outlet? What is the thread size there? I would like to make the same solution.

I used an 8mm bolt. I drilled the bolt with a 3.6mm drill bit. I rounded the end so I could insert the hose.

Здравейте, вероятно има запушен жигльор. Добре е да се свали и почисти карбуратора. От 95 бензина поради по-високото количество биоетанол се получават отлагания в жигльорите на карбуратора на Suzuki Df 2.5 hp

Разница в стоимости очень маленькая. С большими жиклёры работа двигателя более стабильна. Разгоняется лучше и не забивается так легко, как оригиналы.

@@alleksik1 В бензин кладут биоэтанол, который со временем оседает на отверстиях отсадок карбюратора и часто приводит к засорению и неравномерной работе двигателя.

After putting larger jets in the carburetor of the outboard Suzuki DF 2.5 I can say that when opening the throttle it became much more responsive. The maximum speed of a boat increased by about 2 km/h. I have more videos of how fast I get with this outboard on my channel. I also make a comparison with Mercury 2.5hp 2t. The most important thing is that the jets do not clog so easily and this guarantees an easy start. Greetings!
