Thanks, I've had to clean my 2012 DL650 fuel strainer a few times, and replace the pump once. I kinda look forward to it as a routine nowadays. I'll bite the bullet and refurnish the inside of the tank one day.

Seems a very common issue with them.. After this it ran fine but only after brand new fuel ..i thought I could filter my old fuel but this wasn't a good idea...👍🏻☮❤

yes the filter is attached to the fuel pump bolted to the tank bottom . So you need to empty tank . Remove tank . Un bolt pump assembly .. I think I filmed it all in these videos. 👍🏻☮♥️

@@springy-2112 Am gonna try on a K7. Bought a really cheap pump and strainer on Aliexpress for like 22 usd with shipping. Hope the strainer will fit.... Appears a lil different from yours.
