This video is my temp to explain that you don’t need so much stuff when you go on a hiking or biking trip.

Thank you so much for your comment. I enjoy making these videos, I know they’re not very good, but I hope people will enjoy them. I’m getting a little older, so these videos help keep me active. Again thanks for watching and I will be making more videos. Your comment made my day. Be particular, all right 😄

You crack me up. I bought that Parabellum windshield on your advice and it works great. For some reason, the wind just seems stronger at 60 than it did at 16, so the little windscreen gets that wind off my chest. I ran out of gas the other day. I guess I have been riding four months with the fuel valve in the "RES" position. Who knew? I know better now. But, it makes me think that I'd like to have the Acerbis tank. With that white Acerbis tank, can you see the fuel level through the side? I know you can with the natural color, but I think the natural-colored tank would detract from the Porcelain Pig's fine looks. hehe

What a great reply, thank you so much. I can’t see fuel through the tank. I’m planning more rides soon so keep a lookout for me. Ol Slick

Thanks soo much for the reply. I enjoyed making that video. I’m napping a bit today because the coyotes keep me up last night during my camping.

really really good and informal video man. I was actually thinking about you last week as I hadn't seen anything from you.

Thanks… I’ve just been busy with life stuff. All is good though. Sold my BMW r1200gsa and got a HD back in my garage 2017 street glide. My next video will be My Three Bikes and why ? You’re still doing great on your channel keep up the good work.

You're DR is set up very closely to mine. I have Tusk pannier racks with Tusk Pilot bags, a medium Tusk top duffle and the small Tusk tank bag. I can get about 75 pounds of gear, all told. RMATV & ProCycle are my 2 go-to suppliers, having everything I could ever want for the DR. Also, I run 14/45 for gearing.....works soooo much better for off road.

Thanks for replying… sounds like like you have a great setup. I may go to the pilot bags, the ones I have on now are hard to retrieve gear from.

That sounds like a great setup. I've been considering the 45t rear and swapping 14t/15t front back and forth, depending on the ride for the day. I want to stay 525. Did you have to lengthen your chain

Very nice setup slick. The bike looks very capable. What yr did you do the AT. I've been a trail angel up in Bear Mt, NY, for years. I can't stand rideing my DR in the hottest of summer. So that's when I make sure I take care of the AT hikers
@TommyWasHere3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. I’ve only section hiked the AT. I’ve done everything from approach trail to near Pearsville Va … about 650 miles. Several trips different times of year all types of weather. I learned a lot about light gear during those hikes. It’s all on my channel from years back. If I go back I’m going to skip up north for some of the nicer trail. I’m hoping to do some of the trans American trail on my DR this summer. Thanks again. Be Particular…all right😄
