Suzuki DR650SE DG V2 Slip On Exhaust Before & After Install Sound

Thanks. As an owner of this same bike with the same muffler- i can confirm that it is VERY LOUD. A little unconfortably loud for me. I have it tuned with a JD carb tuning kit. It runs well, sounds nice at idle but gets loud in operation

Anthony Dutra I believe so, I don’t remember having to modify anything. It was a straightforward install.

how was the install was there anything specific needed? is it really loud? I'm looking for a really loud exhaust for my dr650.

The instillation is straight forward, just make sure to have allen wrenches available. The exhaust is loud and deep. In my opinion, it's much safer when people can hear you.

i installed mine on my dr650 but it sometimes stalls at idle ever since i did it along with a lot of decal popping. Can anyone help me out and give me some advice?

Probably running lean.. Go on pro cycle website and get a jet kit.

If you have not figured it out yet, its too lean. That pipe let more air in and the carb isnt putting out enough fuel to match it resulting in popping and stalling. Most bikes run as lean as possible from the factory so any extra air requires more fuel to compensate

What on Earth is the use of this video?? All it is, is a DR650 IDLING stock, and a DR650 idling with a DG pipe....we want o to hear it as it REVS UP!!!!! Not idling, nobody rides around at idle...do they? Joe Bonnello
