Suzuki Eiger no spark problems

I replaced the CDI box and also the stator and I still have no spark I don't know what else is going on with this either it's an I believe it is a 03 model

I thought about the stator in mine but nope. Regulator/Rectifier gone bad will drain battery and not start. I have 2 Suzuki Eigers. Ask me how I know, 😂

Flywheel magnets come lose, and causes both spark and charging issues. I am currently working on this exact problem, and the Flywheel magnets are definitely the issue. I hope this helps.

update. I discovered the $165 aftermarket flywheel i installed did not have a strong enough magnetic field to activate ignition. I installed the $500+ polaris one and problem solved.

I thought poor sparking was the fault of a bad coil. I bought a new one but I had someone who is a veteran of small engine repair found that it was a chafed wire. Not the 56 dollar coil. He did not use any electrical gadgets ,just followed the wiring and found it. Repaired it. Suzuki Eiger works fine now.

there is also an ignition fuse in the box under the seat to test while cranking. I also have changed the flywheel {updated} stator, cdi and coil and tested continuity of wires,etc. and still no spark. Do these things have an oil pressure switch that can affect ignition?

Been there done that,luckily I got mine used and hardly put much into it,but all these issues I had,changed to the new fly wheel with the magnets enclosed,4 wheeler hadn't stopped running since

Replace your flywheel. The magnets come loose and cause a random no spark issue. It is a defective design by Suzuki.

Eigers are known to have fly wheel magnets come unglued i got an 03 eiger never had a problem with mine but during my 2 years of having it. i have read a lot about the magnets ,i got a regular stock flywheel and the upgraded on no issues yet.Be prepared these flywheels are not cheap and require a puller to pull it the "right kind" Was the shifter in neutral ? couldn't really tell look like it was in reverse. Ebay is that place i get most parts for mine have any question man let me know

the CDI boxes are $400-$500 right now. My dad had the magnet issues on our 04' and it has been a nightmare. Got all the parts replaced and the bike put back together...no spark. So we're assuming the CDI is bad. Interesting though.

well when u turn ur key on do u see ur N night light up if not then check the light bulb and if the light bulb good then ur gear shift Sensor not working because less ur in N it wont give u spark

Rectifier check that had a Kawasaki have that go out no spark and wouldn't charge battery ATV died on me middle woods hope that helps I work on machines alot and have the same machine might be the solution

I have a 06 arctic cat 250 fourwheeler with no spark. Is mine one with the magnets falling off the flywheel ??? I held my spark plug while spinning it over I felt one single spark as I flipped the override if that says anything.

Sounds to me like a neutral saftey switch. There's one at the foot brake and the transmission. Mine was the master kill switch. It was only getting a week spark. Replaced it and it ran fine for awhile, now got new issues. SMH. Good luck

Flywheel sensor or coil , magnets on flywheel or stater bad again or cdi box bad wire . Get a multimeter verify signals are working. I don’t think the brake light working has anything to do with firing

It can be your handle on and off switch your headlight switch on and off switch replace that

Sounds like you're stator and or flywheel if draining the battery

Its in reverse thats why you don't have spark no power to the key switch

Brandon Case I had theses issues 2 weeks ago. flywheel magnets were shot. 618.00 to repair. I took it to a can-am dealer cause Suzuki wanted 750.00.

The sad thing is your Suzuki dealer knew what was wrong (flywheel) and if they didn't they don't need to be a dealer!!!! But they cost you a shi7 load of money!!

Swap the yellow and the white wire around cause the magnets done changed polarity

I'm dealing with an arctic cat (uses same engine/ignition) that had the magnets on the rotor/flywheel come loose. Put a new rotor, stator, and pulse coil on. Still no spark. After lots of research and testing etc I found out the polarity of the magnets must have been reversed and after repinning the wires from the stator and pulse coil I did get spark. Pretty common for these suzuki and arctic cat atvs according to forums. Still hasn't started the machine though as the timing seems out but I haven't had enough time to dig into it for sure.
