Lol it didn't even start till 1 minute in, the narration at the start had out of sync audio. The weird colour changing effect looks cringy and the information density of the video is too low because of the dialogue and stuff. It's good to experiment but this is not the way to do it.

I agree with you, fellow owner. As the bike is not a performance or race machine, but a higher end commuter/ mid range cruiser in our country. Reviews compare this machine with top performance machine but they should also see the price and target of the product as well.

I own FZ25 and done with close to 5000kms. Bed ridden now, since met with an accident on 11th Nov. Cons: 1.Tire profile. 2. Poor head lamp for city and highway as well. 3. ABS should have been a boon and life saver but then still the brake is good. Depends on individual how one handles it. 4. Horn is poor. 5. Lack of 6th gear and an odd sound between 4 to 5k rpm in top gear (60 to 70kmph) 6. Stiffer seats. Got it customised. 7. Changed rear view mirrors to that of TB350 for better visibility. Pros: 1. Super built quality 2. Cheap and easily available parts 3. Super throttle response. 4. Easy on pocket in maintenance and mileage. Got upto 40kmph riding in Mumbai.

I own the fz25 and have done 4000kms. I am more interested in touring than city rides, just two days back i did a 700km journey on this bike and let me tell you guys.. This bike is nothing short of spectacular. I was continuously riding at 105-116 kmph and as it started raining i wanted to get home fast while on the way back i rode for 3hrs straight, nothing happened.. The bike didn't feel like it was out of breath or anything. The mileage dropped, it gave me 30kmph while usually it gives me 35. The only thing i noticed is that as i was driving at 116kmph and because of the rains the road was completely drenched, the bike's rear tire slipped a little when i was cornering, i didn't took a sharp corner at more than 100kmph after that. The bike didn't heat, didn't stall, didn't look tired at all, seat is plenty comfortable. The only cons are the missing sixth gear, the missing abs and the headlight which doesn't go to a long distance. Personally i feel this bike is spectacular.

It's a no-nonsense, mature bike. I have done 16k on my fz25 in less than an year. It's going fabulous, never felt the need of ABS. 6th gear, slipper clutch, powerful headlights & upside down front forks would have added to its qualities.But, every such think cost. I am more than satisfied with the well balanced beautiful product by Yamaha. Only complaint is about the rusting on exhaust pipe and catalytic converter.

The questions were answered in a subtle manner in the video. Carefully laid out through the length of it. Many would like it to be short and in your face, but that aint the PD way. I appreciate PD for keeping their signature style intact even with the 150-250cc segment. Cheers.

@saikatdas91227 жыл бұрын
One thing I must say as an R15V2 owner, FZ25 is way more torquey in the lower midrange that it can put a tough 0-100 battle with Duke 250, but without having a 6th gear it seems strained after crossing 110. The LEDs need two additional auxiliary LED setup for better visibility in highways. To the Yamaha Haters (NS200, RS200, Duke 200 & RTR200), ride it once, then feel free to comment what is good and what is bad. Most Yamaha bikes don't match the spec-sheet with the Performance they provide, rather they overwhelm riders by their performance as they had been doing so far from the past. Nice video #pdarmy. Shared with proud!

ABS Should Be Compulsory..
@chiragsoi81167 жыл бұрын
samrat ghoshal ABS is necessary but will take price up ,then it won't be competitive enough as it will be in competition to Dominar ,which is 400cc ,better powered ,with ABS Option and better brakes. So keeping price in mind ABS is not given.

Yamaha has played quite safe with the Fz25. It's a very sensible deal if you prefer city usage but definitely leaves a lot to desire on the open roads. I think Yamaha was crystal clear about the audience they intended to target when they planned the bike and going by the sales figures, they are rocking it at the moment

I own a 2009 FZ 16 and it's been such a pleasant joyful journey. It's been one of the most reliable bike I have had till date. It still starts up at the 1st press of the starter button. But for me the FZ 25 just doesn't seem like a upgrade from where I am with my current bike. FZ 25 seems to just have a larger engine and a LED lamp. And I know for a fact that the LED lamp absolutely sucks. Even my FZ 16 lamp beats it for the spread on the road. The fuel average seems to be in the same ball park on both bikes. I would rather go for 200NS then this. It seems a worthy upgrade for city duties and an odd weekend tours. PS - so totally loved the review. Especially the way it was shot n made. Keep such amazing stuff coming. You people are getting better with every new video.

Hey Shadab! What is your fondest memory of the FZ?
@josephf36487 жыл бұрын
Hi Shadab. How long will it take for the bike to become smooth. For now I have completed 500 Km and I can feel a lot of small vibes at around 4k rpm itself. I haven't taken it above 4.5k till now. Gears are hopeless and will have to wait till first service apparently. People keep saying the engine and gear becomes smoother with time but mine seems to be becoming more rough :( . So did you experience any vibes in the initial days or was it smooth right from start?. Just want to confirm if I got a faulty bike.
@shadabali66277 жыл бұрын
PowerDrift everything i came from the background of royal enfield you know what i mean , This bike is not as fast as a duke 250 but as cheaper by around 50k and giving somehow similar perfomance as a complete pakage it makes more sense to me that includes mintance cost ,reliabilty and mileage , luv the fz its overall a good package

By the way Yamaha did this bike, I can say that they created this bike for their existing FZ16, FZs and FZ 2.0 customers who are looking for an upgrade (who are brand loyal). If Yamaha wanted to haul ass of other manufacturers in the quarter litre naked segment they'd just dropped the MT-25 as the FZ25 here with it's LC parallel twin. People who know the technical aspects and the logical market needs will understand this! Peace☮ #alwaysyamaha #revsyourheart💓

Machines r getting bigger capacity and still no signs of ABS Running these on bullshit and chaotic indian roads is v v risky proposition! But who cares , its india man ! Well Yamaha clearly said they wont put ABS on the FZ 25 until it was made compulsory by 2018. Which doesn't make sense, also show its lethargic attitude towards india and its market. They are clearly not very concerned about the riders safety.

ABS is good to have feature but do you think that most accidents happen due to lack of ABS in bikes? No! Accidents in India happens due to poor driving/riding etiquette. Tum ABS ki baat karte ho aur yahan log helmet tak nahi pehne. Technology can save lives but usse pehle apne basics clear hone zaruri hai. Warna koi technology kisi kaam ki nahi. Airbag will not save you if you are not wearing seat belts.

I'll take the NS200 anyday. Abs. Cheaper bike and maintenance. Cruising on the 6th long range gear. Liquid cooling. The FZ makes sense only in the city but then why would anyone get a 250cc only for the city ? Someone tell Yamaha they were never a budget brand.. Don't try to be one... You've already got it wrong once with the FZ v 2.0 . The grunt of the original FZ 16 lost for better fuel efficiency. Poor vision by Yamaha.

@mojomasushi7 жыл бұрын
Vinit Ghosal by cheap I meant cheaply priced and cheaply maintained. Yes in the past Bajaj had quality issues but not anymore with the new bikes... More so 200NS is a KTM engine bettered by Bajaj for Indian conditions... Also quality depends on usage. Yes liquid cooling is not required and FZ 25 is an awesome bike but not a well rounded package like NS. FZ hands down best for city only.

My Review for this bike. Ride quality decent Good mileage Engine refinement the best No vibrations Top speed 145kmph personaly experience by 20+ riders. Doesnt heats up You wont need the 6th gear u see the torque here is 20nm which more than enough to make u fly the weight of the bike plays a major role here Gears smooths out with use and time Brake are decent Abs should have be offered 14ltr tank biggest in class Wide wheels great road stability and grip Headlights r weak Atlast, this is a very practical and all rounder kind of bike with 2 downpoints (as far as i have observed) it gives u everything with quality that is the most imp thing and thats where Bajaj lacks the quality of the product is necessary bcoz u have to live with it for next 4-5 yrs minimum and pulsars tends to lose its quality by the end of 1.5 years i have experienced with Ns n rs both This is more for a mature and practical and all rounder person ✌️😊❤

The engine is not that smooth. I am getting tappet noise once the engine heats up and the service centre guys say that this is normal with this engine and nothing can be done about it. I had a hard choice between Yamaha and Dominar, chose Yamaha for it's refined engine but I am disappointed.

If someone wants to go for this bike then just go through the issues I am facing in daily basis. It's better to know about the Cons of the bike. * U have to rev it a little to keep the engine running in Red light also in high traffic u have to keep the gear in 2nd with some revs otherwise engine get killed ( happening with 3-4 people whom I met in service centre and as per them it's bike issue they can't fix this). *. The pillion seat is very Hard and not comfortable to sit for more than 30km. *. Rider sit is ok ok , u can ride for long time but it's not that comfortable. * Tyre hugger is of no use as bike gets too dirty in rain. *Mirrors are just manageable. *Even after 6k km gear box is still very hard. * Area covered by headlight is just ok. If you are in Highway then u can't go beyond 60 in night due to focus area of headlight . * Bike get some vibration in footpeg above 85 and nearly at 100 u can feel in both handlebar and footpeg.

No it requires this and he said that uptil 7000rpm...the engine does not vibrate and he could do 115kmph only...which is not good if u compare this to ns200 or rs200..
@vinitghosal46117 жыл бұрын
BIKEMANIAC PK ns n rs vibrates all the time and this bike vibrates after 7000 while ns rs vibrates from 5500 and th engine goes till top end soon after 7000 at 8000 check out video by sagar on powerdrift the first review u will understand
@vinitghosal46117 жыл бұрын
BIKEMANIAC PK and by my experience and more 62 riders that we have in our group the bike goes 145 max speed with normal vibs that happens in ns n rs all the time
@BIKEMANIACPK7 жыл бұрын
But as per my opinion...I do require a 6th gear for cruising in a relaxed way in highways..

Yeah when we compare the fz25 with the cc , i would definately take the duke 250 instead of this and when it comes to price i will go for the rs200 (abs variant) because the rs has a higher top speed than the fz25 even though torque is high on the fz25 the rs would be my take !! Anyways nice work there best man !! 😁😁😁 Nice video PD army !! Thats a real honest unbiased review 👍👍👍

i m using fz25 bought it when it was jst launched.....i hav completed 12000 kms..the average of the bike is around 36/37 in city and on highways 40/40+ at the crusing speeds ...depends on how you ride the bike.. top speed i have reached is 145 i think it can go beyond that bt at that road was nt availabe to get the full out of it....and bdw every bike is good in its way... Stay Safe Riders.. :-)

Being light she takes me places. I don't know how to justify my pain eventually though... Lol If you are light this motorcycle can take you places. Which is a good thing I had been having a good ride but still .... I need a 500-750 cc bike. For the 250 enthusiast go for it, makes you feel like riding a 4 lakhs bike. Tomorrow hasn't been Seen. Good one PD!

i wanted to buy it, but now i won't. i dont like vibes at all and i want a bike that has better braking. 126 top speed for a 250 is just not enough, look at yamaha r15 it can go above it. damn it... no, yamaha

love this new style of representation. Desi-casual talks really brought a lot of naturalness in it. Anyway, the bike lookss quite impressive, but it seems to be lacking stuffs in the instrument cluster and another upshift. Hope Yamaha resolves these flaws ASAP. 💜PowerDrift.

Ns 200 with abs is better option than this .. ns 200 looks awesome 😍😍😍
@varaj947 жыл бұрын
On mid range the engine torque and sound is awesome.another thing I felt that in city ride , I had pain in my left hand .one of the worst thing is brake absence of abs , everyone touches the heaven for one second.on highway at night above 60 km , the vision is very low on dark roads . Other than that same as the review.

A huge fan of the channel and a lot of thanks to you guys for bringing such quality content. The review was kinda different from the typical ones. Different doesn't always mean good though. Sagar's review of the GSXR1000 was incredible, could have been like that. But as always great job guys
@saketchaturvedi10737 жыл бұрын
The quality of the parts is just awful Just look at the instrument And it is only useful in the city thanks to the strong low and mid range When you hit the highway it's disappointing Also the engine vibrates post 7K :/ Hope Yamaha actually puts some work polishing their next bike more

So much hype, it's a fucking b grade commuter at best. Yamaha is becoming like Samsung now - charging moolah mostly for the brand only. Torque, max speed, suspension, new tech all goes to shit. What exactly are we paying for? Silly upgrades and stupid made up tech jargon named components.. Street fighter my ass. Duke 200 probably will smoke it easy peasy.

I own fz25 what I love is throttle response and mileage. I don't feel like bike vibrates till 125 after that it vibrates. My daily college route is highway it's like 13km one side I will ride above 100kmph max time bike is returning 33-35 mileage even after riding at that speed. Bike is quick till 110 after that it will gain speed slowly. Those who own fz25 and blame it's waste bike from Yamaha set your ass down because Yamaha advertised as a powerful commuter. Know correctly before you buy a product.

The only Problem with FZ25 is the 5Speed Gearbox according to me. You don't have that cruising gear on highway ,which makes it a bit unstable at 5th gear due to a incremental deceleration. A 6 Speed Gearbox and 300mm disc at front would make it best buy for price.
