Dude ur speech and way if representation is awsome.Just Loved it.I dont like Gixeer coz of its upper back seat.I have shortlisted FZs.fi vs Hornet..Confused I am not a speed freak just mature under 60-70km/hr smooth riding will suffice my needs no rash riding coz I respect the Bike and it will respect me. also sometimes get stuck in 1hr traffic easily so a bike that does not put too much stress on overall body. these Are the following conclusions derived by me from online reviews right 1.Braking: Hornet Wins 2. Hello Team, Nice review, i agree to what all has been said while comparing both the motorcycles but i would like to know few more things as well. 1. Which one offers better pillion comfort? especially for ladies who sit facing one side. 2. Which company has more trusted service records, yamaha or suzuki? 3. What's the actual fuel economy for both the bikes. 4. I've tested both the bikes but Gixxer has hard gears comparatively., what's your say in that? 5. Gixxer is very sharp and quick on acceleration and light but i felt braking was good enough and also Gixxer's shock absorbers were very good even on bad and bumpy roads. What's your say on this? Please let me know as i am planning to buy a bike out of these two within a week. Thanks

Nitish Salvi 1- The cost of spares for the Gixxer should be more affordable. 2- Both bikes tend to scrape on big speed breakers especially with a pillion on board. 3- Nope. High speed stability is surprisingly good. 4- we'd go with the FZ for pillion comfort.

I don't understand why people are telling only Gixxer is best in terms of looks and speed. Don't forget that Yamaha Fz-s V1 is ruling the street since 6 years and in terms of highlighting the rider on the street and on the track Fz-s and R15 are never behind :). I am not telling that Suzuki gixxer is a bad machine it is good but we can't ignore the fact that Fz-s V1 has a fantastic looks amongst all 150cc bikes in India.

My Fz-s itself is celebrating 6 years and its still looks new and muscular and the most important thing is it's handling is like butter and stopping distance is good as compare Pulsar and CB Unicorn. FZ-S is a super smooth c street naked that everybody loves to through around corners.

Longevity?? Honda will last forever, 2nd is Yamaha, 3rd is Suzuki and last is Kawasaki.. (for japanese bikes only)

Talking about the maintenance cost, I would suggest you to contact your nearest service center. Gixxer and FZ both are comfortable for a rider who weighs 85 KGs and has a height of 5'11".

Gowtham Sadhasivam The build quality is good. But a number of panels make up that front fairing instead of it being a simplistic design. So, it is possible that the faring will rattle. But as of now, having only ridden the bike on the track, it is difficult to comment on whether these will begin rattling as kilometres rack up or not.

We thing you should go for the Gixxer. It is a newer bike, more refined and very well sorted when it comes to comfortable seating, ride and good handling. The Apache is more fun but it is vibey and now it is due for replacement.

Jackets offered by DSG and Cramster are good options for long distance riding. Just make sure you get a 'Mesh' jacket instead of a 'Textile' one. As for going long distance by Gixxer, you need not worry. Just plan a 350-400km daily ride and all should be fine.
