I owned the unrestricted model back in 2005. Fun bike, but to make it shift, you really had to rev the engine. Moved onto a 1200 model. Now that thing really did shift! (It's where I got my channel name)

Awesome. I bought a brand new red one when they came out in '96. Out of eastern Iowa, I've covered most all of the western US on a Bandit 600. Full Vance & Hines exhaust after an accident. I remember that valve checks/maintenance was easy. Good luck.

I’ve owned a B6 since 2000. My first was a red 96, which I sold when we bought our house. Missed it enough that I bought a 98 in 2004, which I’ve had since. I love the look and the power. Not slow but not too crazy. At one point I bought a Bandit 1200, intending to swap some B600 parts onto it (Corbin seat, etc.). I found out why they call the B12 the “Wheelie Bandit,” and sold it. Just a bit too big for me, and the jump in power was too much for my taste. My trusty B6 still puts a smile on my face, 19 years on. Cheers!

I have a 1998 one of those GSF600, unrestricted. It’s been a bit of a money pit. By choice. I could have walked away any time. It’s so much fun. The engines are almost bomb-proof. they are unusable in subzero temperatures. Even if the carburettor heater plugs are working they still ice-up and grind to a stop. If you gave me a modern motorcycle as a gift I would sell it, and use the money to keep my Bandit on the road.

Men saknar min Bandit ibland :)

@Darkvisor
@Darkvisor Жыл бұрын
Tjena Micke.

@Darkvisor
@Darkvisor Жыл бұрын
@mikael950
@mikael950 Жыл бұрын

A1 = max 125cc and max 11kW and 0.1 kW/kg A2 = max 35 kW and 0.2 kW/kg A = no limits you can get A1 when you're 16 years old. A2 when you are 18. 24 years old for A license. (or if you had A2 for 2 years) European motorcycle licenses they usually buy and restrict a larger bike and remove the restriction when they "upgrade" from A2 to A instead of buying a new bike. Most newer bikes you can do that very simple and fast at your local dealership. Thanks for watching randy
