Suzuki Gsxr 1000 project, modern srad build

After selling my original srad I’ve been wondering if I could style my 2019 gsxr 1000 in to a modern looking srad.
So it’s my take on the styling, it will never look like an original 90s bike as that’s not the idea with this one, it’s just kinda like if Suzuki made a new srad what would it look like 👍🏻

Those old bike skins look way better than the current gsxr. The blue concept models look super nice. Good work!

Cheers dude, ya, it’s a mega bike but it just lacked in the style for me, the only new bike I like is the rsv4 from about 2017 I’ll give it a go, if it doesn’t work out then I’ve lost nothing 👍🏻

Had an gsxr600srad but do prefer the look of my gsxr1000k6 , and think the k5/k6 is one of the better looking gsxr's suzuki made

Agreed mate, I also had a k5 back in the day, still one of the best looking bikes made, I nearly did a modern k5 style, I still may at a later date, but the k5 is still an awesome bike, so kinda didn’t seem worth it, the srad is so iconic and recognisable, plus I missed looking at my old one 🤪

The renderings look great, I don't know how you manage to cut things up and make them fit, Its definitely a skill. As you were showing us on the vid with the air intakes I was thinking are you leaving the add ons flat or are you flaring them out a bit to give it "nostrils" Without looking at the old SRAD its hard to say if it would look good or not. I have a 99' TL1000r and ive seen renderings of what people think a modern TLR would look like and they are super so this is sort of the other way round but the same. I know it will look great when youve done it. Till then, Get yourself better and dont strain anything. We can wait a bit.

@@adambrooke8611 thanks mate👍🏻 I use procreate app, and sit for hours just trying to colour it in It’s pretty good, you just yes a pic from your phone and start doing what ever to it👍🏻👍🏻

Yes the seat is massive!!! I’ve hacked so much out of it to make it flow better with the rest of the bike, I’m still not sure if I’m finished with it yes still 🙈👍🏻
