1 year owner here. 1. "That little engine cranks out an awful lot of power" - No it doesn't. It makes maybe 10-12bhp. The single cylinder means it's got comparably decent low-end torque (for its size), though. Which means you'll pull away alright. 0-40 is pretty nippy. 40-55 is a bit of a struggle and wind/incline plays a big factor. 2. "You had no problem keeping highway speeds" - Complete nonsense. 55-65 is possible, but it's going to take forever and your little motor is going to be screaming its head off all the way. Once again, weather permitting. The only way you're getting this thing over 65 is by chucking it out of an aeroplane. 3. "It's quite forgiving" - I'll give them that. You have to work hard to make this thing go fast, and it isn't too heavy that you can't catch it or pick it up, if the need arises. 4. "Where you looking for more brakes?" - Yes. Yes. Y E S. It takes an ESPECIALLY poor set of brakes to fail to adequately stop something this light and slow. In fact, the rear brake is so abysmally poor it can't stop the thing rolling backwards when you stop on a hill. I'm not even kidding. 5. "The brake lever is adjustable" - No it isn't. Maybe THAT one is. But i've seen plenty of these things (both standard and HS) and i've never seen anything like that. 6. "You don't need tools to adjust the mirrors." - Underneath those black rain covers is a pair of locking hex nuts. Of course you need tools. Now, don't get me wrong. I love my marauder. It's a heap of fun. But maybe they could've talked a little about its ACTUAL pros, instead of lying through their teeth about its cons.

10 bhp is in the smaller one, GZ125. Are you sure you have 250?

@@royjaber571 Well, that's a relative question. Yes, I'm 6' tall and 280 lbs. I rode one in my riding class last week and would NEVER buy one because it's a toy, and it felt cheap. There are MANY better options out there like the Honda Rebel, and the Kawasaki Vulcan S650. 1:11 this bike does NOT have a lot of power. It's not torquey, but then again, I'm comparing it to what I know, but if he's a seasoned rider, that was a lie. It's a beginner bike, and I know it's reliable. It's a grocery getter, and a learner bike which is 100% fine with me.

I have a 2002 for someone that likes to learn or go for a ride with me. I ride a Hayabusa & or a Harley. My mom road hers from Glens Falls N.Y. to Springfield Ma. Many of times..It's fine for a small cruiser. Tobad they are discontinued. Also tobad they discontinued the Hayabusa, but hope something for 2020 or 2021.

lol could handle highway speeds. maybe for an 80 lbs female. a normal 190 lbs male will find themselves maxing the throttle to keep it at 60 mph on flat ground

@@datdudeoverthere1040 How can a single have two exhaust ports? I don't understand how they did that. Is one of the pipes fake? It sure looks real, as it's coming right out of the head.
