You sound depressed. I've seen many other reviewers who may not like all aspects of this car but they deliver their views in a more upbeat and balanced way.. There is no need to sound so disdainful and disparaging and talk about older people as if they have no discernment.

A lot of the uncertainties you stated during the "test" would have disappeared just by reading some very simple literature about the mild hybrid system which equips this little car. The Ignis is not meant to be "a car-man car", for this you can by a mini cooper or, if you can afford it, a Lamborghini. Fuel consumption is great, it is comfortable for 4 tall adults, the sliding back seats make it very flexible when it comes to room for luggage, and its "all-grip" 4WD capabilities take you out of trouble when necessary. There is simply NO other segment A car in the market with such features. With a weight (without the driver) of 910 Kgs (860 Kgs for the 2WD version) the 107 Newton Metres of max torque (at 2800 rpm) are more than sufficient sufficient to make the ride thoroughly enjoyable in any situation. The large and heavy SUV's that are now in all our city centres may be good for showing off outside pubs and restaurants, and for nothing else. They are very limited as to off-road capabilities and usually very thirsty in petrol. Hats off to SUZUKI for their clever and practical cars.

I don't think you understand how to drive this car. It's odd that you make observations about the gearbox and mild hybrid assistance that haven't been replicated by any other reviewers. And it is not an old person's car.

The reviewer looks like he is having the worst time of his life driving this car ! People who owns one, is it that bad ?!?! Because I’ve read really good reviews (taking in consideration the car ) but he looks like he is hating it so much !!! Thoughts ?

No, the reviewer is just low-energy, to put it mildly. It is a good car, affordable and runs for 5L/100km.

It's not the best car on the road but if you need a small car to get around and that has a bit of ground clearance, then you could do worse

As far as I know, here in Australia, we dont get the hybrid or 4wd, and people rave about the straight petrol engine version... Sounds like you werent too keen.... Subscribed.

No I was not. I didn't like the feedback the hybrid system was giving me through the pedals, the shifter, and most importantly my butt. I suspect that if the Australian version is indeed straight petrol, it will be a much more enjoyable experience.

@@the-pit-lane Yep. Theyre very popular here.... I dont know why you need a hybrid setup in something so small, anyway. Technology for technologies sake.. It adds weight and complication, and makes long term ownership problematic.

Not a fair review. If you want a full blooded 4x4 SUV get one. Considering the price of this car it's great for what it is. The most important thing about a car is that it takes you from A to B. Job done.

J'ai trouvé cette vidéo sans intérêt. À aucun moment le gars ne se met à la place de quelqu'un qui voudrait acheter cette voiture (typiquement les gens qui regardent cette vidéo). Il parle juste avec dédain. Par ailleurs, sur le fond, le contenu est très faible et approximatif. N'importe quel autre test sur KZbin donne toutes les infos utiles (même quand si parfois c'est trop technique pour l'usager moyen comme moi).
