Thanks for the video I'm eventually going to "bob" my Intruder so this was a big help. Can you tell which brand handlebars those are? I think I may use something similar on my build. Look forward to part 2. I really would like to see how that rear fender turns out!!

I have a 96 VS1400. I'm thinking of Ratting/Bobbin' out the bike. Thanks for the video and MAYBE I'll record what I do as well. Did you think about changing the Airbox to get more room? I was thinking of going with a K&N Filter for the front and rear carbs. Any thoughts on that job?

I am looking into doing that I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I think if you go k&n filters and move the cdi box that is mounted to the seat lower where the old air intake box is. You could then build a plate to cover all of that and put a springer seat on it and it would look nice

I used small K&N style filters that had a curved boot. It allowed the filter to face forward without being squished by the tank. It also let the lower filter curve down away from wiring/ module. Intruder 1400

Feck me and I had a hard enough job changing the battery then again I didn't have a workshop and stand. I did have a shovel though, I dug a hole underneath the bike lol

Yea battery placement is odd for these bikes at least they give you that trap door to drop it

@@dirt.road.warriors7143 The battery housing is a badly engineered design, however I reckon apart from that, and it needing another gear, it's a great bike.
