Suzuki Intruder C800 Exhaust Mod

So I showed you the usual modification for an exhaust system, the one I did on my Dragstar. Well there is a further mod you can do to better the sound of your exhaust on the Intruder.
The microphone on the camera really doesn't do justice to the difference in sound and quality, for that you have to do it yourself and see.
All elements are created by me, for the purpose of this channel.

Just wondering if you ever went through the second plate? I did this mod on mine and now I've got used to the increase, I want more.

It's about back pressure, if you keep the system standard then you will run lean, if you go through the second plate then the intake needs to be adjusted.. either a remap or new jets on the carb

@@Gothtecdotcom mines fuel injected so no hassle with the carbs. I'll do some research into a remap. Would this be the same process if I was to install a set of straight pipes?

Good afternoon. Smoke from the exhaust system is it coked rings on the pistons or oil seals on the valves?

Never seen it done this way before, can I ask why you drilled holes in the plate? Also does this technique not break the welds on the baffle and leave it rattling in the pipe? Other vids I have seen they cut out the back plate completely and then break the baffle welds and pull it out all together

Previous hole, from previous mod, but opted for the punch instead.... This is a very common mode that even the dealer that sold me the bike, offered to do this for me I said "Nah, I will stick it on youtube!"

Nice sound! Just a question as I can't hear well in the video -> after doing that part with hammer, you get "louder" sound or "thicker"? I drilled a holes with fi 8 (then with fi 12) in my c50t pipes, but the sound is just louder and wonder if that part from your modification will bring "bass" improvement.

+RICH PIANO I do have plans for the Rat, but, here's the thing, Rats are moulded/matured not built. I have done the basics but I have to let time and the elements dictate what happens next. The elements, and chinese chrome, have dictated that the front forks are an MOT failure, therefore they have to be replaced. This will be a continued issue with this bike, so a plan has been formed. I just need to get hold of some new forks in the old rat way, as cheap as possible :D until then rattage ison hold.

er, it's not a mallet. It's a club hammer or lump hammer. A mallet is made of wood or rubber. Nice video though.
