Came here from researching Matt's Off Road Towing and the rescue of Ed's LJ50. Nice to hear what it sounds like and that high-revving 2-stroke prob isn't the best rock crawler but sounds cool as heck.

Shame!! My mates did all this and worse in the 70s and 80s.. largely why there no good ones left...all battered and rusted away!! I know they built for it. My point is they to rare to destroy like that now. Just try to find the bits to rebuild engine..good luck!!!

My uncle had a LJ50 which he did two trips from Sydney to Cape York back in the late 70s. Had his bluey and 12 gauge as company. lol
