I can't believe it's been six months since we added this 1991 Suzuki Lt250R to the collection. In this video we will go for a ride on this quad and also talk about the pro's and con's of this machine.

@@garagemcmatt awesome I can’t wait to see the upgrades. And the thing I liked is that you mention what years of the quad we’re most desirable and how it stacks up against a Trx250r. I’ve been looking for a trx for the longest time but can’t find a good deal and have thought about getting a Suzuki instead but was never convinced enough to making that decision. Now if I find a 91-92 for the right price I will certain to try to get one👌

Had a 86 first when I was 12. Had alot trouble with the frame cracking around the foot pegs. And the earlier models didn't have the power valve. My second one was a 91 never had any of those frame problems with my 91. By far my favorite growing up. Watch sitting it on the rear grab bar however Had aluminum dg almost looped a wheelie one day hit rear brake to save it however it did break off the grab bar at the bolt hole at the rear of the frame. By the way 250 is rideable in the woods where the zilla is a bit long. Takes a certain kind of individual to stretch her out in the woods

Just got my 250r shes all tore apart prev owner said they were gonna do a resto mod but never completed just got it today tore down to bare frame im gonna have fun the next couple of weeks

The LT250R had some atv low bends on it at first now I have some 12 degree fast flex bars on it

@duxe1975 if your running your stock steering stem I would recommend some atv high bends. Very low set-up if you run a low bend but depends on how u like your bar height

I'm gunna put one on it. The aftermarket rad has the outlet on the rad cap section. I just want to keep it from splashing out the little bit that it does
