Suzuki LTR450: ASV Lever Install, Z400 Cable and Parking Brake Delete

Follow along kids as we install some ASV levers with the Z400 Cable and also delete that ugly parking brake off of Martins bike...

It took me a minute to realize you have a slammed van in your driveway haha. That thing is badass! Is it bagged or static?

it’s a tdi vw golf wagon, it was bagged but it isn’t anymore.. made it back to stock and sold to a dealership lol. kinda wish we kept it though it was pretty sweet

Just did this exact same thing to my ltr using your video as a guide! Super helpful just is it normal for the clutch lever to feel so stiff afterwards?

yes ours is pretty stiff also, I believe it has something to do with the ASVs unfortunately. Thanks for watching and letting us know this video helped you!! 👍

Are all years of the 400 clutch cable the same?

yes they should be the same for 03-09

would you know how to change an clutch’s grabbing point , would it be the perch?

Can you use any universal levers once you do the cable swap? Or is it just for the asv levers specifically?

you should be able to use universal ones since they are mostly knockoffs of the ASV design

it was! about a month ago we made it back to stock and sold it and picked up a Golf R so it’s left the collection here
