This is the 2nd one I have owned. I had one back when they were still being sold new. I was very close to pulling the trigger on a new YFZR but this one was very low hour and was a 1/3 the price so I let that nostalgic feeling get the best of me. So far, so good just like my old one. Planted is a very good word for it. And also a very polite way of saying heavy (because they are lol!).

Really sorry to hear that. I had a really nice 400 I built in high school that got stolen after I graduated. It also still kills me to this day thinking about it.

Love the spot you have your Neutral, Gas light, and Engine light. How did you mount those there?

You just drill 3 holes. Can't remember the size but I used a step drill bit. Then just pry the lenses off the indicator lights, pull them out from behind the dash and move them there. Do not have to do any rewiring or splicing.

Looks awesome! Nice and rough. How do you like the Urmosi? It may just be me but I’ve been feeling like the LTR throttle is a little heavy? I’ve thought about trying a TRX90 throttle like I have run on all my Honda stuff. I don’t dislike the feeling of the Suzuki throttle though. What do you think?

It most certainly is! Hypersmooth saps out a lot of how rough it is. You are absolutely right. The LTR throttle pull is way stiffer than it needs to be. For me it's not even the hard wide open riding that wears me out it's the slow technical stuff with lots of throttle modulation. The part throttle stuff. The Urmosi is awesome, it's way more ergonomic feeling but it doesn't fix how stiff it is. The Keihin 38mm carb on my 250r, and Keihin 39 FCR on the 400 both have easy pull throttle return springs installed. I'm going to reach out to Tokyo Mods and Danny at Jet Labs to see if there is a spring available, or if they can make one for the Keihin LTR throttle body and I will get back with you!
