Suzuki Manji after Six Years

I bought my first Suzuki Manji about six years ago ad posted a comparison review (I think against a Hohner Special 20). This harp has really held up and kept it's newness after years of playing. Still sounds new.

The Manji has a resin/wood fibre comb where they tried to emulate the resonance of wood but without the issues. I have several, but moved on to the Kongsheng Mars1 and Mars2 plastic and aluminum combs respectively. Incredibly smooth with rounded holes that sit deeper into your mouth.

@@caravaggio7919 the blues master is a little cheaper model, you would probably find a manji very responsive. A little more expensive though..

They’re very well built for the cost. They are more expensive, but their build quality is higher, as is their QC. I will say though, they set them up for novice players from the factory, with the reed gapping rather wide. Adjust the gapping a bit and it becomes one of the best harps made.

The Manji is considerably cheaper then the Special 20.
