No i dont have power steering yet, im waiting for my turbo to show up before i add any power robbing accessories..lol the lil 1.3 dont have any power to spare.

no its coolant electrolisys probably bade fuel and oil lubrication quality it tryes to act as a disel thats a pre ignition problem . calcium chlorine brake fluid for exampel gives you fuel based on time auto ignition your engine will swap from lean to rich burning ratio posibility is high that you have to low octane fuel if its a disel same problem try out fuel and oil aditives ore check what spark plugs you have and leads some of those like to create parasitic spark posibly you have arcing some where that you can see only at night under higher speeds engine rpm posibility is insulators interfeare with grounding ore hot side of the baterry might by your dashboard regulator is failing ore simply corosion some where in the electric circuet
