Suzuki SFV650 Gladius Lowering, Ixil exhaust and tail kit

Good video thankyou, my partner has this bike & I have had it lowered & works very well. My question could I get the name of the tail tidy kit you used? Looks good & has the seat release included.

Thanks, the tail tidy is made by Targa. You can see an example on eBay or on the website ridersdiscount.com. it goes for under $200. It's well made and the fit and finish is excellent.

Did you not need to put your forks higher with it being lowered?

The front forks remained the same height, the rake changed slightly as you are actually tilting the bike if you can imagine it. The change didn't affect the handling with such a small change. The bike still performs excellent. It's my wife's bike and her only concern is the lack of dampening on the front fork but that's not a result of the lowering. We thickened the fork oil and reduced the air gap slightly which helped but the true solution is stiffer springs. I did a lower on her Harley and the kit came with lowering shocks and front springs. They were stiffer which helped performance but the ride was harsher.

I've a 28" inseam, i raise the rear to aid handing...get the wife on a trials bike and learn to balance better! SV650 rearsets needed to rid the bike if those horrid hangers!
