Suzuki swift boot not opening testing to fix issue

My central locking and my rear door wont open. The motor works but wont open. Where are the fuze located for the rear door and central locking?

They only have one fuse .if the doors are Woking the fuse is ok .you might have a broken wire issue .The fuse is in the engine bay .They can get complicated to fix I’ve done some tricky ones .The security module could be blown up as well if nothing works .

@rickohlson3962 thanks for the response neither the back door opens nor when i press the unlock and lock button on the driver door works. Neither from the key ot just flashes like it is lock and unlock but nothing happrns. My swift is right hand drive. Where is the security module for the central locking located?

It’s under the dash big job to get to it .You possibly won’t see any thing wrong neither you you need a scan tool .I would look up this on you tube first.key program Suzuki swift ez Australia.Try to calibrate it first .See how you go

@truefacts6830 Some times they get out of sink .I have found the wire connector to be faulty on the actuators .I just solder them removing the plugs .

I did the tweezer thing and the motor works perfectly fine when I do that, so I know the button is the problem. So my question now is .. what exactly is the fix?

Sure is .Just clean the connections on the wires some times that’s the issue. They get corroded .

This is the most common problem.You might need to check for power with a multi meter.

The 2 wires for d reverse light acciently touch then that's when it stop work

@gazathug1479 I would check the fuses first or the remote battery .Does the central locking work with the key on the other doors .

@rickohlson3962 no it doesn't work at all. All fuses are good
