Good start John Noakes, Valerie Singleton and Peter Purves would done something with a shampoo bottle and some cardboard LOL. I might still have a Blue Peter badge somewhere. Look forward to the next vlog 👍 I had a GT750 Kettle when I was 19 - 1976 time flies.

Another one of my absolute favourites. Just loved the look and the sound of the T500. Arguably the first most successful big bore 2 stroke twin at the time of its launch, they had lots of bottom end grunt almost like a 4 stroke, not a bit like the triples. Great bike, can't wait to see it restored and ridden.

There was an inert to the lower case half that allowed 200 ccs more oil + a deflecter over the output shafts gears. Apparently the original design left the 4rth& 5th gear sets stayed for oil. I also ran gear lube instead of regular oil in the gear box. All tyranny problems dissappeared.

Yes I managed to pick one up a few months ago, I did actually do a short video on it. If you go to my channel and look under "shorts" you'll see it. Thanks anyway 🙂

Hi have you done the oil conversion?
@mcmechanic864 Жыл бұрын
Not yet but I know all about it, there was a mod to supply better oil supply to the gears 👍

@@mcmechanic864 it’s the smell I love, as soon as I take the lid off it takes me back to rebuilding my LC’s back in the 80’s. My wife hates the smell, ‘have you been using that bloooomin’ stuff again, it stinks’ 😆
