Hey! Nice review and thanks for the customization insights, I'll try out some ideas on my DE 👍

Thanks... my review is all over the place but figured it'd be nice to get a perspective from someone who doesn't review ADV's for a living. Good Luck with your DE, they are great bikes!

Nice bike. Get rid of that getto exhaust for a proper one.

Arrow header. Yoshi RS-12 muffler. DNA airbox lid. 2wdw ECU flash. You'll be looking at 87-90 whp and BIG leap in torque. Full exhaust, lithium battery, fender tidy, maybe a set of IMS footpegs, convert to tubeless (tape seal inner rims, the supermoto guys do it all the time), and you'll feel the weight come down. Me personally I'd be looking for suspension help, especially a better rear shock.

@@exothermal.sprocket not sure I’m willing to put that much into this bike.

@@CaptainRevs 😄 I'm just throwing spaghetti at the wall. There's a growing aftermarket for it already.

I like the 2024 white and purple version of the DE. You want a cruise control? Veridian cruise has an aftermarket plugin.
@CaptainRevsАй бұрын
@@exothermal.sprocket been thinking of wrapping mine and blacking it all out. Cruise control would be nice I guess.

The exhaust tip looks really cool,What brand of exhaust is this?
@CaptainRevs2 ай бұрын
Exhaust link is in the description... it's a cheap exhaust made in China I believe... no brand. I really like the look but will probably replace it at some point when there are better looking options available.

thanks for this video man.and now the critical question....engine heat?i live in a country with really hot summers.
@CaptainRevs2 ай бұрын
I live in Florida and our Summers (and most of the year) are pretty hot. With that said, you will notice pretty bad engine heat when you stop... honestly it hasn't bothered me much and has gone mostly unnoticed but for some reason the last time I rode it, I recall noticing just how bad it was. From what I've read it's specific to the engine design not necessarily just this model of bike. My Thruxton RS gets pretty damn hot too.

@@CaptainRevs i think its the catalyt of the pipes.the good thing is that i ride in open country roads.i dont live it a city.so i think ill be fine.does this exhaust couse any throtle issues?and two more questions please...what is your avarage fuel consumption and what about annoying hadlebar vibrations that many point?
@CaptainRevs2 ай бұрын
@@thodoris3790 The exhaust hasn't affected performance at all... if anything it feels faster just cause it sounds faster. No idea what I fuel consumption is sorry, I don't really pay attention to that. And handlebar vibration is there but easily resolved by kicking into a higher gear and cruising at lower RPMs. Only really notice it on long trips on smooth roads, and again just go up a gear and cruise at a lower RPM. Hope that helps.

Hi. Your exhaust link goes to a bandit 600 exhaust + link pipe. Can I assume that is correct and it is a plug and play (link pipe + exhaust system)? Thanks in advance

Can't find the tail tidy here in u.s. I hear about the weight I have had a m50, gsxr600, victory octane and now I'm looking into this so I don't think the weight should be an issue for me it's all about comfort since I work long distance and ocasional gravel or dirt road, I'm more concerned of the height I am short 5'5" inseam 30 but of course I will get use to it
