Suzuki V- Strom SX250 ( Review)

An adventure sport tourer from Suzuki... sharing the engine and other components with the Gixxer250.
The new suspensions, swingarm , front wheel, tyres and the Adventure bodywork transforms the already impressive Gixxer250 to a capable ADV. But, the tall seat height will not suit everyone eventhough Suzuki has a lower seat available, the lower seat is not as comfortable as the stock unit. The new front brake disc is a welcome addition to the braking system as Suzuki bikes are lacking a bit on this department.
Overall an impressive Adventure bike... if you are willing to shell out ₹2.3+ lakh for a 250cc ADV bike.

hello sir, how are the ergonomics and design for saddling on this bike? is it comfortable for long saddling hours?

The ergonomics are just fine.. it's just that the suspensions are not that supple, they are a bit on the harsh side. If you ride at a slightly faster pace this will be an added bonus as they work better when pushed at a slightly faster pace. But, the slower you go the harsher it will feel.

You can use the 17 inch front wheel from Gixxer 250 but, you'll have to do some modifications as it is not a straight fit with the front brake disc.

I am 5.7 and riding 855mm seat height with no problem. You need to change your riding style with these adv bikes.. You cant expect your feet to be on the ground at all times like touring bikes :D You`ll do just fine...

Slightly slower at lower engine rpm but, not much difference at higher rpm. This is probably because of the extra 11kg weight gained by the V-Strom SX 250 compared to it's naked counterpart.
