My violin is extremely microphone friendly. I got it at a yard sale.....had it restored. It's not very valuable, but it is old. It says it's a "Joseph Klotz", but it is a fake, so I call it, lovingly, my "Flotz". It is a good fiddle. Thanks for the comopliment!

Hi Ng! You must be more than a beginner, if you are waiting for Book 4!!! I am just barely starting Book 3....that will take almost 1 year.....THEN I will start Book 4....so 2016 is the target for Book 4. Don't wait for me!!! Go ahead and work on Book 4, and GOOD LUCK!

This violin is very old, but not valuable...and microphones LOVE it. It is not a concert violin.....but it sounds great on video!

I have a question of how to count this piece temple correctly, especially the first iconic part. like 1/16 note - > 1/16 rest -> 1/32 + 1/16 ?? Would you have a video with a metronome?

Hi i'm currently at grade 1, and i was wondering in which grade will vibrato be taught??

So you are currently in Suzuki Book 1? Or are you following the ABRSM syllabus? I will assume you are in Suzuki. It is up to the student and teacher when vibrato will be taught. It will be taught when your intonation is consistent, your left hand technique is relaxed and near perfect, and your bow control is solid. For some students, that happens by the end of Book 1. For others, they are not ready to start learning vibrato until the end of Book 2. MOST students begin vibrato by sometime in Book 3, whether at the beginning or near the end. So can you see? There is a HUGE range of when it is appropriate to learn vibrato. I have an online vibrato class, but if you have a private teacher, it would be really good to talk to her/him about it. Don't be shy!
