Bought a new vitara just over a month ago.....automatic. So far fairly happy.. My other choice was the Skoda Karoq, but the issues it was having with the 1.5 engine scared me off. They don't seem to be having much of an issue with the auto's, but......The Vitara is pretty nippy for what it is. My requirements.....get the golf clubs in back of the rear seats, check. This is harder than it seems....all the other small suv's failed this test without taking at least one club out of the bag. Wanted back to an automatic, just tired of shifting all the time, check. Really wanted a digital speedometer again, nope. 9 screens of digital info on the dash, only the first one is of use.....the others are just a silly waste.

Looking good Sinead. Informative review. A funky run around with a bit of space at an affordable price, and a few toys as standard it seems. At least it's not boring. Cars should be fun. BTW, up yours Suzuki for crapping on the Irish market. Why are we not good enough to sell the Jimny to.

Since Suzuki left the US market years back, we won’t get the Jimny either (not that we got the last one either) or this cute little one. I need to book a flight to Europe to see a Jimny!!

Yeah im getting a 2019 suzuki vitara 2019 1.6 diesel Monday. Drove her there yesterday just the base model but she surprised me how lovely she was too drive

Well suzuki offers you three years warranty and they are very reliable. I happend to have a Samurai from 1995 and i love it.

If you want a jimny go to the U.K and get one, Suzuki make decent inexpensive cars.
