I think it's because this is closer to what we can relate to in real life. Not talking about the aspect of dating an idol but the relationship dynamics itself and the feeling of first love. I'm somewhat like WJ in real life, more quiet, serious, on the caring side. My first gf was just like Doona. From the way she talks, to the way she apologize. I watched this show 5 times already, it made me miss her very much. As a man, I cried a lot watching this show for the first time. Unfortunately life isn't like a drama, we didn't end well. She got married last December, I'm happy for her.

My favorite, and I find myself having a hard time moving onto another Kdrama because this was so good. Suzy's performance is spot on. Man I can feel her depression, happiness, frustration, anger and love, most of the time without her saying a word. So many layers to the story and all the little details that tie together. Everything on screen seem to be a character, including the environments and props. So memorable.
