The idea that a super intelligence will necessarily win is false. A game of chess has set rules and no dice, which reduces the luck factor. In the real world every choice made towards an agenda carries risk of failure from human or other factors. ASI might have a great plan then a dust storm or lightning strike that wasnt indicated on any weather prediction thwarts its plan, or a human is hyper creative and lucky and the ASI wasnt quite planning around that. This applies more to any short time period and applies less over time.

I am usually a great fan of the Future of Life podcasts. This one I had to abandon 10 minutes in. Has anyone counted the number of times Suzy says "like"? Like I just couldn't pay attention to, like, what she was, like saying. I would, like suggest to Suzy, to like work on her, like likes.
