Tao didn’t “shadow clone” jutsu, you are probably thinking of Ninja Murasaki from the red ribbon army, and he wasn’t “shadow cloning” either, he just pretended he can split into multiple people when in reality he had a bunch of identical siblings.

Always liked how Goku is scratching the sole of his foot while lying there. It means that after suffering an energy blast and falling at terminal velocity at the ground, he was so unhurt by the ordeal that his itchy foot still took priority.

Tien's four man technique is similar with "Shadow Clone" in Naruto, same weakness as well, your power have to divided equally among four people.

Goku has a terrible habit of holding back and getting himself beaten up a lot But trust me, he bounces back and hits back even harder every time Sometimes it was the same technique or an even better one He does this to challenge himself and to also train, perfect, test and strengthen weaknesses inside his fighting style and techniques And if you particularly like the technique, you will learn it and perfect it

Please watch Z (NO KAI) because the fillers are amazing with the exception of a few of em. Also I grew up on the bruce faulconer score and its my preferred way of watching Z! However the original japanese soundtrack is beautiful as well.

tbh I think when you watch something you should always go for its most original version, you can watch other stuff but at least wach the original, but since she started with english dub well makes no sense to change that, she also is used to kikuchi soundtrack, she should go withh that too on DBZ. I agree original Z is good for som fillers, the saiyan arc for instance most of the fillers are actually great and makes the story better as a whole.

Filler amazing? Yeah, no. The only filler worth a damn is the driver license one. Everything else is nothing but pointless padding that ruins the pacing. There's no reason to go through that nowadays. Ditto Falconer's early 2000s white noise. I'll never understand how ANYONE can have nostalgia for that act of cultural vandalism.

Yes, the filler in DBZ is good. The sense of adventure of Dragon Ball was lost in Z, but thankfully there were some exceptions with the filler. The best experience for a first-time viewer is to watch the original version. Contrary to what the "premature ejaculation" crowd says, Suzy will have no problem with the pacing of Z.

She already watched the first episodes of DBZ, so there is no need to repeat that over and over again. And she is going to watch the first 70 or so episodes with the OG soundtrack and then switch to Faulconer, to see where all the "hype" comes from. If she likes it, she'll stay with it ... if she doesn't (which I hope, as it's too noisy imo.), she may switch to the OG soundtrack again ... but that will be shown in 2 or 3 months ^^

The "training that was supposed to have way more episodes and they just sped it up for whatever reason" was filler. In the manga, we see Goku about to start his training with Mr. Popo, and then the next chapter is everyone reuniting for the tournament. When an anime based on a manga is running at the same time as that manga (which is almost always the case in order to capitalize on the manga's popularity), there will inevitably be times that the anime catches up to the manga's story, and will have to do filler in order to give the manga time to "get ahead" again. A smart manga writer will leave occasional "gaps" in the story where the anime can do some filler without affecting the main plot. The prior training arc was concluded (rather abruptly, I'll admit) when the people in charge of the anime decided "Alright, that's probably enough filler where we won't have to do any more dedicated filler episodes before the end of the next arc, let's get back to the actual story."

天津飯は本当に技が豊富ですが、見た目にも分かる通り3つ目の持ち主で普通の人間では無いのは明らかなので、特訓で身に付けた技の他に、そもそも自らの血筋に手を増やしたり、分裂させる能力があったんだと思います。 笑っただけで、スージーに黙れ！と言われるピッコロが不憫でなりません。 試合中にストレッチばかりしている悟空ですが、いつもの間を埋める為のアニメによる付け加え。 ピッコロは悟空の弱点を見付けたなんて言ってない気がする。 悟空の勝ちだなと言ってたはず。

Goku picked up the Kamehameha on his own. Roshi never taught him. So Goku is an expert in picking up techniques after seeing them a few times and understanding how they work. The Taiyoken aka Solar Flare wont be the only technique Goku would pick up in this story.

0:51 The manga has no training at all, after the dragon is back we just go to the tournament. This training with Popo is anime filler. For some reason, after the first training with Roshi, Toriyama didn't draw that much training stuff and it was mostly "We're gonna be here next. Okay, we're here now". 3:28 No, it was Murasaki, the purple ninja and he just had four bros, hardly anything to learn there. 6:25 You know this like, a tournament, right? There's rules and you gotta fight one-on-one and either way, why do you want the bad guy to help? 10:31 Literally lost two last tournaments, not to mention other figths here and there, even to Yamcha, technically, in the very first arc. 14:44 He learned the Kamehameha by just seeing it once. Yes, he baiscally has the Sharingan.
