I remember watching the series for the first time blind without any spoilers, and I was completely flabbergasted the moment I saw Goku punch straight through Piccolo leaving a giant hole in his body. 😮🤯 To this day the visual of Goku punching through Piccolo is easily among my favorite moments in the seires!

Once more, I'd like to request that you watch the movies for the original Dragon Ball. Now is the perfect time to do so. I'm sorry to sound like a broken record repeating this request every few episodes, but I strongly believe that NOW is the best time to watch these movies before you proceed much further with the show and enter the next arc. The four movies for the original Dragon Ball are "Curse of the Blood Rubies", "Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle", "Mystical Adventure", and "Path to Power". At the very least, you should watch Path to Power, as it's a beautiful, very well-animated movie, and it has Eighter in it. If you only watch one Dragon Ball movie, make it that one.

Not sure if anybody has shared this piece of fun fact, but the kamehameha wave is actually very much possible, basically Toriyama had an understanding of physics and everything in Dragon ball revolves around basic theramodynamics. How it's produced is in fact very simple, dragon ball characters have this ability to manipulate their body heat. The more they increase this pressure the hotter the environment is around them. To produce a Kamehameha, all they have to do is concentrate and super charge the air particles in the space between their hands, the air particles become ionised plasma and form a sphere and there's your kamehameha.

I don't want you to ruin the experience for the people who are watching the series for the first time. Dragon ball deima and Dragon ball super are just modern failures of the original Dragon ball series. They made those shows just to compete with one piece and is a cash cow. It's best to watch the olders series first before watching these modern ones, What's worse the characters in the modern ones don't even feel like their original self. I say stick with the classics.

Piccolo couldn't avoid it, because no character at the time could fly. Note that when a character floats in the OG Dragon Ball, he never moves. They just float in the air without any maneuvering skills. That's why Goku was able to deliver the final blow to Tien at the previous tournament and why he was able to kill Piccolo.

@@kaialone But it has… it shouldn’t take rocket science to figure out that if a dragon can grant wishes to a person who summons him, he has no choice but to obliged to THEIR terms, regardless if the dragon is happy about it or not. It’s just doing its job. The same goes for a genie in a bottle, they are told what to do by the summoner in terms of their wishes, and can’t go against that wish… depending on what it is. If the summoner wants to live forever or to be young again, the dragon has to grant that wish. So, my point still stands. She needs to learn how to use her imagination and pay attention to stuff that isn’t hard to figure out. Blaming the dragon makes no sense. Thats like a person wishing for nuclear bombs to start a war and cause chaos and people blame the dragon for something he didn’t do. The dragon only gave him what he wanted because, as it’s decreed he has to grant the wisher what they want. What the person does with their intentions is on them. Their actions are not the dragons’s fault.
