Denji became concerned about the fate of the passenger who might have been hurt because of their fight. That's why I don't consider him a psychopath. He doesn't want ordinary people to suffer if possible, but he's already fighting for his life every day, so "collateral damage" is definitely not his first priority. He's not your typical protagonist.

Denji is a kid who grew up without the basic needs that a child needs to function well in society. What we have like food, relationships ( platonic or romantic) a roof over our heads is paradise to him and while desire for such simple things is shallow and humorous to us it's his goal to experience the things that normal shonen protags would have at the start of their story. It's his goal to experience basic needs that a human boy his age should have experienced by now.

It is funny that you mentioned Aki as a guy who has a ’depth' in his character, when the author actually named him 'Aki', because it means 'empty' in Japanese. You might be surprised to know that that chacteri was in fact originally designed to be empty inside. One more thing the author commented is that the name 'Makima' came from 'Mama (mother)', since chainsaw cut down trees (Ki in Japanese) and if you leave out the letter ki from Makima, the word 'Mama' would pop up. He basically implies that Denji is actually more attracted by her motherly nature than her sexual appeal.

Yes it is exciting to touch boobs even more for the first time even tought mine happened by accident haha .
