Beautiful house! I agree the decorators were careless with the paint job! I’m sure you’ve rectified it by now. A few ideas. Please don’t put curtains on that big window and in the nooks. Those window seals can hold decorative pieces . Make a picture gallery on the staircase wall going upstairs and on that landing put a big/huge full length statement mirror which will even make that space brighter. Pinterest has lots of ideas too.

From what I saw if I ain't wrong, the storage is made accessible both from the dinning area as well as the kitchen. Check the glass doors to confirm. If so, how convenient 😄!

I do like this house better because of all the rooms so are you putting all the kids in one bedroom with all this space. The house help can be in guestroom and her room can become office and the boys and could be separated from the girls how often are you going to have guest

Lovely lovely space. Congrats. A good idea for the reception is to have a mini family/seating area for when you have a small number of guests and want to have serious discussion or 'adult time'. You wont have to disturb the babies as they watch TV.
