You have probably noticed that you ended the focal portion of the necklace differently than you began it. The first circle of beads does not have a large bead, but the last circle does. Fine either way, but most would prefer the same on each end. This is a stunning design and a great choice to use the tourmaline! Nice tutorial!

I would have used a 4mm bead in the first cluster as it looks a little off balance with a 4mm in the last cluster but I love the idea, definitely inspirational

This is called the ladder weave. It is difficult to follow because the beads are small. Try using larger beads to practice first before you attempt this design.
