Hello! For tech packs, can we use the traditional S, M, L, XL if we don’t have the measurements figured out? For instance, if the garment was for a crop set.

You can send your manufacturer a size chart. You can find size charts on most online stores, so say you like the fit of an Asos T-shirt borrow their size chart xx

Hi Tadii! Just wondering. If you are going to a manufacturer and you want sizes 16-26, do you have to do a tech pack for all of these and put every single size of each bit of the t shirt? Or can you tell them your size guide ie breast, waist, hip sizes of each size and they can do it from that? Thanks xx

Heyy yes you can just do 1 tech pack and then use a size chart for the rest. Most manufacturers are happy to work that way xx

Just to clarify, if you’re doing a sample size, are do you take these measurements and then the manufacturer figures out the other measurements for other sizes based on sample size measurements? Thank you 😊

Hiya, yes I have only every done the sample size and then they work out the rest. I have been asked for a size chart, I recon they use this to base the sizes on. You can find size charts on your favourite online store websites. Alternatively I will send them a physical sample for them to base the pattern on if I am lazy to do a full tech pack. Hello, I recon AI flats will be a great start.
