SV650 - Replica SC Project - Scorpion comparison

For a bit of fun i wanted to see what a replica SC project exhaust is like (ebay) so 60 NZD later here we are. . The thing is amazingly well made for its price. Decent welds, Solid build, all stainless. It fit the link pipe on my sv650 exactly. I would like to compare to a real one, but I cant see myself spending 900 on what is essentially a tube with some baffling. . .
I ground off the spring hoops and split the flange using a dremel and cut-off wheel so i can use a standard exhaust clamp for a more secure hold.

Sv650 isn't the best sounding bike but with that SC project replica it actually sounds pretty good 👍🏻

ended up being a bit too loud for daily commuting, so i cut down the scorpion instead. Will be putting the sc project on my custom vfr

No baffle, it didn't come with one and I don't think it can take one :)

@@Finnius_fiff thanks, my replica came with a little piece which fits in the bottom, acting as a restrictor/baffle. it's really loud even with it in though

@@lewisjones1182 I was hoping mine came with one, I ended up swapping back to the scorpion and shortened it, the sc was just too loud in the end

Just search for SC project on eBay, lots of people selling them . Make sure you get the right diameter, 51mm is standard for most bikes
