Woooow! Thanks for posting this tremendous effort! This one will be on my bucket list now. Please if possible give me some details. Which month did you do this hike, and how long did you walk from the base to the top? What was the average temperature (from the sound of your steps, it must have been below -20°C)? Absolutely amazing images, even though the clouds came in and blocked the view to Longyearbyen.

Hey, it was April 5th :) I think it was around -18C. It took me around 1.5 hours from base to top, but distance between Longyearbyen and the base is around 5KM. It was absolutely stunning, first part of April is best for Svalbard.

Ploni, bet geri :) marškinėliai, 2 ploni merino sluoksniai, bliuzonas ir priešvėjinė striukė. Na ir aišku po kelnėmis dar apatinės merino kelnės. Pliusas tas, kad jeigu būna per karšta, tai galiu nusimesti vieną sluoksnį arba užsidėti jeigu per šalta. Tokiose vietose stora striukė nėra universalus pasirinkimas.
