Thanks for uploading this. This is actually so much more useful than all those crappy reviews discussing the build quality of the frickin bag and lens cloth you get with the scope. Thanks for actually showing us what it looks like through the scope :)

I agree that using a phone adapter adds to the experience. The exit pupil size(objective lens(75) / magnification (25 to 75) gives a 3 down to 1mm exit pupil making it difficult to get proper alignment using eyeball). Also 60x is close to maximum usable magnification due to atmosphere mirage, haze, light. My spotting scope develops a dark shadow in center at higher magnification as well-maybe something to do with the optics/coatings but the phone can add magnification as well so using the scope at lower end plus phone magnification works best for me. Using a phone adapter also helps keep scope steady-really important. I enjoyed your nature views, clouds,trees,etc, too bad no birds,wildlife antics. Thanks for sharing as this encourages me to get mine out and be creative!

Aye glad to see my video reaching other scope and photography enthusiasts like me! Thanks for sharing your experiences with your spotting scope, I do agree that operating with about 50x and above magnification starts becoming less useful as the bottleneck starts tp shift more on the atmospheric conditions that affect sharpness and visibility. I didn't get to test out everything I wanted in this B Roll as I was way too excited to try this lens out, and yeah would've been great to observe wildlife with it but it's a rare occasion that I couldn't wait for to pump this video out. Hope you get some awesome shots with your scope!

Thanks for sharing, It would be better if you mentioned the long distance for each screenshot with resolution.

Hey Random RimRock! Im learning Blender for over a year now and you inpired me with your Dream Minecraft Animation! (Do you remember me? I was the guy who stayed up to 4am to watch your making off stream 😅) Anyways, ive learned modelling, simulating, texturing and doing vfx at the time. One day i want to be a vfx artist in a blockbuster movie in hollywood and i just want you to know, that you were one of the people that got me into 3d. Thank you for that, Mr. RimRock... (I pressted ctrl + S as a reflex while typing lol)

Hello, I can guess that this telescope does not really zoom 75x, but how many do you think it actually zooms

Hello brother, I bought the svbony sv 28 25-75x70 telescope, what is the focal length and the diameter of the eyepiece, in mm, but I am wondering about the telescope, it does not contain any information
@randomrimrock14 күн бұрын
I'm not sure if telescopes like these provide info about what its focal length it is, probably because it's a lil different from a camera lens. However I can roughly calculate and estimate that the magnification of this specific model has a full frame equivalent focal length of around 500mm at 75x magnification. But of course it doesn't mean this replaces a 500mm camera lens, the optical quality and field of view is very different.

color fringing is typical of cheap Chinese scopes like this. saturation is poor. sharpness is what one would expect. glare isn't handled well again due to cheap optic coatings.

whats your recommendation? i plan to buy something like this but better quality
