The highlight of my week is to get to share in the fun ... I get to live vicariously. thru your videos durring lunch on Fridays ... and on Sunday ( weather providing) I get to realise my own adventures in our sailboat on a local lake. Although its nothing like what you experiance I have only you guys for motivating my husband to rekindle a childhood love of sailing. We've been following you for a few years now. After we started watching he popped up one evening, exahusted and pulling an old Victoria 18 he had dug out of a graveyard...6 months later Delos videos gave birth to a daysailer named Babydoll ( after me). So whether you are aware or not...you have had a tremendous influence on some of us who are fans. We are now looking for a bit bigger boat and look forward to many more episodes of SV Delos. May fair winds follow you Thanks Rhoda

Brian and the rest of the Delos crew, I am blown away by your generosity. Including Greg and Chyanne on your journey is something I’m sure they will never forget and they will never see the world the same. You can see the joy on their faces since being picked to join. So awesome!!! Thank you for sharing with us and you all are truly an I inspiration. To the Delos Crew, thanks to you and to your awesome videos, today I am doing a sea trial on my first ever Sailboat (1980 O'day 37 Center Cockpit). With luck she will become my passage maker! I cannot tell how many of your videos I watched saying " I am doing something wrong." Well today, the dream meets reality. I am scared to death! I have some work to do on the boat to get her ready. So, I am still part of the rat race. But, when ever I get scared or discouraged, I just sit down and watch one of your videos! Simple! Thank you!!!!

Another awesome job of editing by Karin. I feel she is also an experienced sailor and one who will jump right in and do whatever is necessary at the moment. I would feel comfortable if she was in charge of the ship I was sailing on. It is also comforting to have Brian around if anything goes haywire....great to have his experience and brainpower on the ship. Another enjoyable video!

Capt. Jack Sparrow and his crew aboard the Black Pearl have nothing on you guys. Love all the videos. Whoever does the video editing with the music, and the drone shots and the graphics does an outstanding job. Love that the girls are so carefree about going topless at times, ......like who cares, we're out in the middle of nowhere, anyway, right ? Kool. Love how you guys show all the different characters that you run into along your sailing journeys and the amount of wildlife that you encounter as well. Let each creature live it's life no matter how big or small. Everything has it's own purpose on this planet. The beach side cookouts are just outta this world. Fresh hot food, a cold beer , some rum shots, a deserted beach in the middle of nowhere, a beach fire, and a gorgeous sunset, just doesn't get old.

Your quick fix of the starter solonoid (sp) reminded me of one of my Dad's old boats. That is exactly how he would have to start the motor most of the time. He finally bought a rebuilt one and somehow getting going just wasn't the same for him. Great sailing on this video. Delos is so beautiful!

Agree. Vagabonde has gotten a little to commercial for my taste and their videos consist of a tiny bit of sailing, Elyna singing for a while, and a slight bit of adventure. Also, they are really short. No recent video has been over 15 minutes. They need to get back to basics.
@1450JackCade7 жыл бұрын
I never liked it. There are a lot of KZbin channels that are little more than fortunate sons and daughters (generally unaware of their luck of birth), and I find them boring. It is much more interesting to watch a channel like Delos of a guy like Brian who worked for this boat and the opportunity, who struggled--I remember that there was a period in the Philippians (I think) when Delos' motor was out, I remember when they'd take breaks to earn money to keep going. Also, they keep it fresh with new guests. And, as I've said before, they are good eggs, and, as we all know, very good at videography.
@tim850csi7 жыл бұрын
For what it's worth... Riley worked in the mining and offshore drilling industries for many years saving up to buy the original La Vagabond. They did hit the genetics jackpot though... sailing-lavagabonde.com/money-money-money/
