I'm new to fly tying, and I have been working to come up with patterns specifically for Tenkara fishing. I came up with the idea for the balanced jig style all on my own recently, and was disappointed to find that it had already been done. I was looking for a way to keep streamers and leeches horizontally positioned in the water when fishing at the odd vertical angles that come with Tenkara fishing. Normal streamers are not particularly viable with Tenkara, especially in still water. Your video and the one by Fly Fish Food have been helpful in avoiding the trials and errors that would have followed in perfecting the balanced jig style that I "invented" lol.
