david blaine does an even crazier version of this trick where the person writes their name on the card, and when he inserts it in the deck, the top card is still always their card with their name written on it. i still don't know how he does that.

tell them that you are a germaphobe or that you dont want their hands on your deck because it might make the cards dirty. people usually respect that and if not just dont perform for them.

what you could do is put the cards in a pocket right as you finish the trick and you suspect that they might want to see the cards and when they ask you to you just have a normal deck hidden in the same pocket and show them this one or something like this

@@MrSuvvri even better, do it the other way. Preform a impromptu trick, then put in your pocket, show the trick with the svengali deck. Because they shuffled before they're not going to feel like it's not normal. And if they do ask to inspect (which they most likely won't), you can do a deck switch.

Instead of the Herman pass you can use the Cardini change, it's much easier and it doesn't break the order of the deck

Lol i got one of these for my birthday a while back but i didnt even know what it did and so today i took i out for like the first time in a few years cuz i knew it had a blank card i needed for another trick and i was riffling through it and it was only 3s of clubs and i was like 😲

You need to pressure or riffle the deck in order to get the special card

another easy way to turn every card into 6 of hearts is to riffle down the pack with your thumb and when you riffle up the pack it turns into the normal cards

Yeah I searched this bc I went Uber gatlinburg after 4 years from when I was 6 and now I’m ten so we went with my aunt and grandma and my mom again and we went ice skating and snow tubing and when we went to Riley’s aquarium we walked around and me and my mom went off and saw a Claire’s and then a magic shop and we went in and got stuff, and my mom thought they said 50 dollars but they said 15 dollars so she got it and now like 4-5 weeks later or more I’m figuring it out. I’ve always loved and wanted to learn how do to magic since I was little since I was about 4 before my dad died he got me magic sets and he died when I was 6 and I still have the sets and now I wanted to learn how to do tricks with the cards because the Manuel thing made zero sense

Get the Mirage deck. It's a rough and smooth Svengali deck. It's much better.

Hi Barry, I was going to say this......with a mirage deck you can spread them on the table face up and it looks like a standard deck. I usually show my friend/ spectator they are all the same card by thumbing them through and they say "oh the deck is all one card" then I put them on the table and spread them to show all cards are different and that really freaks them out!! They are also feeling quite clever because they think they've caught you out using a deck of all, 3 of hearts for instance, then the table spread really shocks them!! 😂😂. Dave.
